Winter in Swedish Lapland - Experience Sámi Culture at Huuva Hideaway

When snow blankets the land and stars dance across the sky, winter in Sápmi invites you to embrace the stillness and magic of the season. Our winter experiences are shaped by Sámi traditions — from fireside storytelling and Arctic flavours to starry night walks and crisp adventures in the snow. Welcome to the quiet beauty of Norrbotten, Sweden.

Arctic Calm & Winter Light

Explore our winter wonder land, designed to warm your senses and connect you with the land, the season, and Sámi traditions.

Group of people gathered outdoors in snowy forest, some looking at items on a wooden table, with a rustic wooden structure and snow-covered trees in the background.

We begin by the fire with a warm welcome drink in hand. Try gliding on a kicksled or take a few soft steps in snowshoes before we gather indoors for a cosy 3-course lunch. As you dine, stories unfold — about Sámi life, reindeer, and the Arctic land. We finish with home-baked Swedish fika and a moment of stillness.
