Get hands-on with Sámi-inspired food and craft traditions.
Try your hand at wood carving and whittling, then bake your own gahkku — a soft flatbread rooted in Arctic food culture. End the experience with a Sámi-style tapas tasting of smoked, cured, and dried meats and fish, local cheeses, and beverages.

Step into the magic of our Swedish Midsummer — Wildflowers, laughter, songs and stories…
We hope you will feel like family when taking part of and be “hands on”, weaving flower crowns, putting up the midsummer pole, sing songs and dance around it. We’ll gather around the summery smörgåsbord filled with local flavours and dishes, share traditions and some tales (about nightless nights, natures force, and why we put flowers under our pillows)

We gather around a table of juicy crayfish, tasty sides, local drinks, and time-honoured songs that bring everyone together.
It’s messy, merry, and full of charm — a true taste of Swedish celebration at its coziest.

A bold bite of the north. This one’s for the curious and brave.
Experience the iconic Swedish delicacy surströmming — fermented herring — served with traditional sides just the way locals eat it. As the flavors unfold, so do stories of Arctic life, food preservation, and seasonal living.
It’s pungent, it’s playful — and definitely a tale to bring home.

The Attja Lodge
Stay close to nature in the cosy Ajtta Lodge — a refurbished two-storey log house blending Sámi tradition with modern Scandinavian comfort. Upstairs you'll find a studio room with one double bed and one single bed, plus a separate single room. Downstairs, there’s an extra wide single bed, perfect for a child or extra guest.
The lodge includes a kitchenette with kettle, fridge, glasses, and cutlery for simple meals. You’ll have a private compostable bio toilet, an electric sauna, a shower, and your own outdoor jacuzzi on the veranda.
On arrival, we’ll welcome you and give a short tour of the house — from how to light the fire to how the sauna works.
