Follow the foraging guide, listen to storytelling about the Indigenous Sámi Philosophy, traditional and local food, how to preserve, the year of the reindeer, the 8 seasons and Arctic life hacks. And ofc, find the goodies in nature that will be part of the meal we prepare and eat together.

Location The Outdoor Huuva Bar & Restaurant, Liehittäjä, Norrbotten. South of the Arctic Circle, near the Luppio mountain. About 1,45h by car from Luleå (Sweden) or Rovaniemi (Finland).

We highly recommend making the trip to see Pia and Henry's beautiful outdoor cooking and foraging experience! This was honestly our biggest highlight of our trip through all of scandinavia. We were greeted with the most enthusiastic and passionate hosts who shared with us stories about their food, local foraging and their Sami ancestors.
This is what we came to this land for! To connect with the land, nature and it's people who care for it.

Try the kick sleds, make a snow shoe walk and listen to storytelling about the Indigenous Sámi culture and Philosophy, Reindeer herding, local food and preservation, the 8 seasons and the art of living at 66° North.

Enjoy the Genuine Christmas Spirit

with Sápmi Santa Henry

and his helpers

Santa loves all animals! Fill up with some seeds at the winter birds outdoor restaurant upon arrival. Enjoy the warm berry drink with gingerbread cookies by the outdoor fireplace, and the culmination of Christmas, when Santa arrives.

Let’s go inside and enjoy the warmth in front of the crackling fire. Traditional Christmas meal, rice pudding, berry juice, coffee/tea and ginger bread cake, and meeting Santa.
